Selma, 1965: The March That Changed the South (Beacon Paperback, 695)
Published in Paperback by Beacon Press (July, 1985)
Author: Charles Fager
Average review score:

Great Book for Research!
I bought this book to use it for some research and here is why. You can not find a lot of books on the Selma Marches, only bits and pieces in a whole lot of books. Selma, 1965: The March That Changed the South, is a great book. It has a whole lot of information in one place. It made it very easy for me to look up specific dates, marches, etc. This is a great book to use if you need information. I gave this book 5 stars becuase it is a great research tool and it tells the story of Selma in 1965 very well. I strongly recommend that children use this book as a research tool for a report.

Snowboard Racer (Choose Your Own Adventure, No 165)
Published in Paperback by Bantam Books (November, 1995)
Authors: Anson Montgomery, Tom LA Padula, Tom Lapadula, and Thomas LaPadula
Average review score:

Snowboard Racer: Postmodern Deconstruction of Terror
Another terrifying descent into the natural world - this time Montgomery chooses what was previously considered benign snowboarding/winter sports as his medium. Who we are when we begin this timepiece and where we allow ourselves to boldly dare by the end - begins to explain the crux of the CYOA post-modern dilemma. Am I snowboarder? Am I going to go to the safe hut with Dan? Will Matt lead me down a deathly "Double Black Diamond"? Or are, in fact, life's decisions miniscule in comparison to the mountain on which I ride? Who am I and how do I fit with the pre-determined context? I'm not sure but this book allows me to look over the edge, stare into the contemplative blackness and see a doubled reflection - I am indeed a God.

Speak for Yourself
Published in Audio Cassette by Learn (January, 2003)
Authors: Robert Montgomery and Learn Inc
Average review score:

Public speaking
I took Mr. Montgomery's three-day speech course in 1974. It was the best skills course I have ever taken. He indicated at that time that he had reviewed over 300,000 speeches for organizations such as Xerox and the American Mangement Association. His course helped change my life for the better.

Spell of the Tiger: The Man-Eaters of Sundarbans
Published in Hardcover by Houghton Mifflin Co (February, 1995)
Author: Sy Montgomery
Average review score:

Mysterious
the subject is a tempting one to begin with: tigers who are seldom seen, but who seem to kill people whenever they like. Montgomery's powerful insight into this strange region of the world is that these killer tigers, revered by some locals as supernatural, are actually protecting the entire ecosystem from destruction. They are difficult to study scientifically, and take on an incredible air of mystery that is as compelling as the lush environment and the strange effectiveness of some of the local cult religions. A superb study.

Spirit of place : Lucy Maud Montgomery and Prince Edward Island
Published in Unknown Binding by Oxford University Press ()
Author: L. M. Montgomery
Average review score:

Spirit of Place
Spirit of Place is a beautiful book, matching breathtaking pictures of Prince Edward Island with the beautifully penned words of Lucy Maud Montgomery. Her love of this magical island is obvious through this book, and its pictures of Cavendish beach, Lover's Lane, the red cliffs, and the sea, among many other spots is a great way of capturing the magic. A great way to understand how much and exactly why Montgomery loved Prince Edward Island so very much.

Suicide of Christian Theology
Published in Paperback by Canadian Institute for Law, Theology & Public Policy, Inc. (June, 1970)
Author: John Warwick Montgomery
Average review score:

Absolutely challenging and thought provoking!
Montgomery covers a wide array of subjects dealing with challenges upon Christiaity, specifically on the historicity of Christ, God-is-dead theorists, the sufficiency of Scripture for today, and anti-God arguments based on feelings and "I think..."

Not for remedial readers; not for cowards; not for closed-minds.

Definitely for serious scholars; a must for pastors; necessary for apologetics.

A big book with lots of material that might be considered esoteric if read as "light" reading. Definitely take your time with this one.

Average review score:

A must have reference!
Comprehensive source for the serious researcher, based on original documents. Hundreds of photos of textiles, pattern books, commerical records, etc. Information is arranged in a dictionary format. There is a slight difficulty in matching photos with definitions, but it's worth the trouble.
